Where we begin
Your first three sessions
The start of our work takes three consultations, in sequence. That gives me the time to understand your wider health picture, connect the factors that matter, and set a therapeutic direction with you that is yours, and then stay with you as it progresses.
The three sessions
-
Session One
The whole picture: your story, your results and your life, from the beginning.
-
Session Two
Connecting what matters, and setting the priorities.
-
Session Three
The therapeutic direction, and its first steps.
Why three
Why three, and not one
A whole health story rarely fits into one appointment. The first session gives me the full picture. Time between sessions lets the pieces settle and lets me connect them properly. By the third, we can set a direction that fits your life rather than a general one.
This is medical work, not a one-time review. Each session builds on the one before, so they work best in order and close together. What happens inside each one depends on you, which is why I do not describe them as a fixed protocol.
Before Session One
What to bring
Everything you have, in whatever order it comes. Results, reports, letters, and the questions you have been carrying.
Missing pieces are fine. Putting it in order is part of my work.
How booking works
Start with Session One
You request Session One, and we arrange it with you directly. After it, you choose how to continue.
Session by session
Book and pay for Session Two and Session Three one at a time.
The three‑session package
Session One, already completed, counts toward the package. The remaining two are booked together, and the three cost less than booking them separately.
Fees, and the booking, cancellation and rescheduling terms, are shared with you when your session is arranged.
After the first three
Beyond the first three
The first three sessions are the beginning. I stay involved after them, and adjust the direction as things change. For some people, especially with longer-standing or more complex concerns, further therapeutic support may help.
If so, I recommend it individually, only where it is appropriate, and we discuss its structure and number of sessions together. There is no fixed programme after the first three.
